maya dhondt is trained as a classical pianist, currently active in the music, performance and theatre scene as a multifaceted performer and musician. She creates intuitively  fragmented music, blending genres, sounds and languages into what has been described as a postmodern cramp of glitch-pop and contemporary piano. 
Her music is an intuitive and a never ending exploration that has the potential to be and become a multitude of things at once, exploring the edges of her voice, her piano and twisted electronica.

You live too close to Tesco so you make an album called “Tesco”, you move to Warsaw, you play some gigs, you dj, you play some more gigs, you release your second album "śpie" in Gin&Platonic, your cinematic hardcore "Human Sapiens Ep" in Pointless Geometry, your trailer-core ep “Julek! Julek! Julek!” in glamour.label that you owned, you finally finish your third, epic, cinematic LP “Hotel *****” for Orange Milk Records and you’re so happy it’s out, you start BFF Music label, you work on an EP for Dyspensa Records and there’s like a thousand other songs in the making.

FAN CLUB ORCHESTRA (be)

Fan Club Orchestra (FCO), le groupe d'improvisation de Lawrence Le Doux, revient avec son premier album en 11 ans via 12th Isle. FCO est composé de Lawrence Le Doux, Ann Appermans à la guitare et à la basse, et Zéphyr Zijlstra à la trompette. Le Fan Club Orchestra (FCO) trouve ses racines dans les performances et les enregistrements collaboratifs qui ont commencé à la fin des années 90 à Bruxelles. 

FCO, qui s'est reformé, présente son nouvel album « VL_Stay » sur le 12e album de l'Isle. Baudoux est rejoint par Ann Appermans à la guitare et à la basse, et par Zéphyr Zijlstra à la trompette. L'ensemble est d'une sincérité éthérée indéniable. En développant l'espace avec une palette électronique diaphane, les guitares et la trompette ponctuent le cadre de motifs qui frémissent comme un mirage, ou surgissent des profondeurs de l'ambiance. Avec l'éclat d'un cristal rugueux, les sons ne sont jamais d'une clarté perçante, mais cela ne fait qu'inciter à entrevoir ce qui reste insaisissable.
