Entre live atmosphérique et deejaying transcendantal, le show d'une époque méditative.

Acid Arab (Fr-Lb)

FR - Les festivals étant en pause sanitaire, Acid Arab ont rangé les kicks. Ils se sont amusés à déconstruire leurs morceaux pour les rapprocher de l'ambient et du dub.

Un exercice surprenant auquel ils s'étaient déjà livrés dans des mixes expérimentaux: "Climat" (Resident Advisor, 2014) et "Climat 2" (Solid Steel Radio Show, 2016). Cette année, les albums “Musique de France“ et “Jdid“ seront au cœur de ce projet, dans leur plus simple appareil. Certains instruments, certaines voix ont été inoculés dans des clés usb et se mêleront aux rythmiques enfumées.

Acid Arab initie ce nouveau projet “Climats“ qui est un concert illustré par la dessinatrice franco-libanaise Raphaëlle Macaron, avec l'envie de proposer des concerts vaporeux, ouverts à l'expérimentation, mêlant dans un geste éthéré création musicale, deejaying et illustration graphique. Entre live atmosphérique et deejaying transcendantal, le show d'une époque méditative.

EN- Festivals are on hold, for sanitary reasons, and Acid Arab have put their bass drums on ice. For fun’s sake, they worked on deconstructing their tracks and reshaping them from an ambient & dub viewpoint. They had already done that several years ago, in the context of experimental mixes they called “Climat” (for Resident Advisor in 2014, and Solid Steel Radio Show in 2016).

They’re now turning these experiments into a proper show, which weaves a variety of otherworldly sounds with atmospheric, stripped down versions of tracks from their “Musique de France” and “Jdid” albums.

Entitled ‘Climats’ (a word which, in French, not only means ‘climate’ but also ‘atmosphere’), the show will be illustrated by projected live drawings made by French-Lebanese illustrator Raphaëlle Macaron. This original blend of live ambient performance, deejaying and instantly-created visuals makes for a uniquely enjoyable experience, a show perfectly suitable to the current context and conditions.
